Christina White Salon has decided to remain open during these trying times allowing our clients to escape the madness of our current state of affairs. We understand the seriousness of the corona-virus. Therefore, we are taking the following steps and precautions for the foreseeable future.
Hands Off Policy: We are asking all of our team to refrain from handshakes and hugs.
Your Health: If you are sick, been around someone that has been sick, have traveled out of the country in the past 2 weeks, or have been sick in the past 2 weeks, please reschedule your appointment. There will be no cancellation fee as long as you reschedule.
Our Teams Health: Christina White Salon provides group health insurance to all full time team members. If they have any signs of sickness, they are not allowed to work and are asked to immediately seek medical care. During the next few weeks we will ask that our team refrain from any large group activities and limit social contact of any kind.
Hand Washing: The CDC recommends washing your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds to help prevent the spread of germs. All employees must wash their hands before and after every client. We ask all employees and clients alike to wash your hands after eating, using the restroom, and after blowing your nose, coughing or sneezing. We ask that all clients use the provided hand sanitizer or wash your hands in the restroom before and after your service.
Salon Cleaning: We pride ourselves with having the cleanest salon in St. Louis. We believe that the top salon in STL is the cleanest! We have always had a professional cleaning company that comes once per week. Below are additional steps we are taking until the virus is gone.
- Wipe station and station chair down with disinfectant wipes.
- Wipe down all door handles including front doors and bathroom doors every hour with disinfectant wipes.
- Wipe down keyboards every hour with disinfectant wipes.
- Wipe down light switches every hour with disinfectant wipes.
- Use warmest appropriate setting during washing cycle. Dry items completely.
- Remove all magazines.
- Wipe down all tablets, iPads, and smart phones including team members phones after each use.
Cosmetology State Boards direct that proper cleaning and disinfection are mandatory at all times – from tools and implements to areas with counter tops, back bars, and reception areas. We will continue to adhere to the strict guidelines of the Missouri Board of Cosmetology and Barber Examiners.
